“Why is your company called Parachute IT?” is a question we’re asked frequently.
The answer has nothing to with adrenaline sports, nor is it an oblique reference to our expertise in cloud computing.
The name Parachute IT emerged from lengthy discussions about the type of business we want to be and how we want our clients to think of us. IT is central to the productivity and profitability of all our clients and therefore, indispensable. It’s not however, their core business or the primary skill set of their employees.

Cloud backup vendor unveils channel growth plans; takes swipe at competitors’ discounting practices
Published on Jun 10, 2011
Cloud vendor Asigra this week vowed to aggressively pursue a bigger share of the backup software market.

It has been a long time coming, lots of planning and hard work from many people but finally the re-brand has taken place and what a refreshing feeling it is! FWCS is no more and Parachute IT is here.
So why did we re-brand we hear you ask?
The answer is without doubt, rapid evolution. Our business took a major decision to change the way we work in relation to our service and product offerings, customer service improvements, internal investment and more importantly, how we deliver outstanding IT services at reduced costs, improving user productivity and making the best use of technology for the benefit of our clients.
The new identity coincides with the launch of a new range of services the company has been developing over recent months which reflect evolving technology and the needs of modern businesses.
Based in Bushey, Hertfordshire, Parachute IT is a provider of Cloud Based Managed IT Services ranging from full Remote Systems Management to Business Intelligence.
While traditional businesses around the world struggle with their bottom line, hi-tech start-ups are making use of all the latest money-saving tools at their disposal.
At the recent GeeknRolla event in London, in which start-ups and investors from around the world met to wheel-and-deal, there was an almost evangelical desire to spread the word about how new technology can boost efficiency at any type of company.
